Back then, Amazon launched the Amazon Onsite Associates Program, an extension of the regular affiliate program, that brings product-related content from third-parties onto Amazon to help customers research and discover products they might be interested in. This content has been syndicated from content creators' websites who have been invited to participate in this program.

But after it launched, publishers quickly realized that though this program offered new revenue for them, it was going to be a challenge to participate in on a number of levels. Editorial Recommendations On Amazon

Editorial Recommendations are written like product review articles by a list of hand selected third-party publishers inside the Onsite Associates Program. They show up on the first page of search results when your product's keywords are searched on Amazon.

They are distinct from organic and pay-per-click sponsored listings. Your product gets a prominent spot on the search results page and it supercharges your brand’s legitimacy and perceived value.

Requirements to Be Eligible

How It Works

  1. Submit your Amazon storefront and ASINs to SellerRocket for us to vet, qualify, and prepare your products based on sales velocity, organic ranking, and keyword search volumes.

  1. How do products get published on Editorial Recommendations? There are only two ways products get published on Editorial Recommendations. Either products are organically selected by publishers or they get featured through SellerRocket's network of publishing partners. We bridge the gap between sellers and publishers.

  2. How much does SellerRocket cost? We offer performance-based pricing that varies on sales volume and the total number of parent ASINs. First, we review all products to ensure they will perform well before moving forward. We do not require any down payments or any money upfront. We do not charge anything if we cannot get your products featured. You only pay when your product is placed in a live review article. We also do not charge anything if we cannot get your product featured in the top three spots on Editorial Recommendations.

  3. What is the average ROI? Our clients realize on average a 4-10x return on adspend (ROAS) and a 30% overall boost in sales.

  4. How long is the timeline? On average, Editorial Recommendations usually go live within 6-8 weeks and stay live for over a year. The fastest time we have seen a review article go live is 2 weeks, and the slowest time we have observed is 2 months.

  5. Who controls the content? Publishers maintain total control over their content. They write independent, third-party reviews featuring your products. SellerRocket has no influence over the written content. We submit your products and keywords to our publisher network and align your products with relevant content.

  6. What influence does SellerRocket have on how products are positioned within the Editorial Recommendations? Seller Rocket does not control which position (far left, center, right) that your product will reside in. Instead, we can advocate for a position. The final decision rests with the publishers themselves and their content teams. However, based on historical precedent, having a large volume of reviews relative to peers, and of course a strong star rating are material factors in this decision process for many publishers.

  7. What's in it for Amazon? Why don't they do it themselves? They clearly value independent third party content for a few reasons: (A) Third party validation and trust with consumers. We can attempt to advocate if there are key factors you want taken into consideration.
